Coffee and tea equipment
- Rinse after each use so coffee oils and tea tannins do not build up.
- Take apart filters, plungers and infusers to clean them, and let every part dry before reassembling.
- Descale regularly if you live in a hard-water area.
- Let glass and ceramic cool before washing to avoid cracking.
Wood
- Hand wash and dry upright. Do not soak or put wood in the dishwasher.
- Rub with food-safe mineral oil now and then to stop the wood drying out.
